My name is Lathon, and I am from Indianapolis, Indiana.
First of all, I'd like to thank God for pointing me in the the direction of this site, and showing me once again that I'm not alone in this battle with sexual immorality.
2nd, I praise and thank God for Shelly, I saw your testamony on Youtube and I can honesly say that a seed has been planted in me as a result of that, and even though I'm still having struggles with my addiction, you testamony has inspired me to keep fighting and learn more about My lord more than ever before, and for that Shelly , I thank you!
Finally, and this has been on my heart ever since I listened to Shelly's testamony, and the testamonies of alot of the men and women whom Jesus has saved from the industry, I already know Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I know that he's already forgiven me, But to you Shelly and all the others , I'm am Truely Sorry for how I've treated you guys back then and I'm sorry for supporting the industry that has brought you all s o much pain. I'm really hoping that God will use to speak HIS truth to all those who have been trapted in the same darkness I onece was, and for me to continue know Him as well as making him known, So Please pray for me and I continue to do the same for you.

Reading your post truly blessed me. I too thank God for pointing me to this site. I haven't posted in a long time, but I am a supporter of the work that Shelley and Garrett, and the others do (though I can't begin brag; the work they do is not easy !). Still, it thrills me to know that women and men are continually being blessed. And yes, I think we should definitely pray for one another! The fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)

And yes, the work that Shelly and the others do isn't easy, But in the end it'll all be for HIS glory, I love Jesus so much, My prayer is that in everything that we do, no matter what ministry or postion we are in, That we will continue to give praise to OUR GOD, Cause he is worthy of our praise.
Yes, we must not take credit to ourselves. I know these verses well:
1 Cor. 4:7 ...What do you have that God hasn't given you? And if everything you have is from God, why boast as though it were not a gift?
Jer 10:23 I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps.
Jam 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
