Finally!! Somewhere to share my problems.
I have to put things flat. I have a problem. I am addicted. For years i was not able to even accept the fact that i am addicted to porn. But after reading testimonies and the topics in the forums finally i have mustered up the courage to accept that i have a problem and i need help.
I had a wonderful walk with the Lord before i started with college, but everything went downhill from there. I went from a straight A student to a barely pass. My walk with the lord just broke off. I had the occsional week or 2 when i didnt watch porn but somehow or the other i always managed to get back. I just feel sooooo numb now. Feel ashamed of myself and also guilty.
Please tell me what i should do to rid myself of this. I need a lot of pointers and a lot of prayer.

Well, you ask for advice and you'll probably get it, whether you really want it or not!
Seriously, if I were to put it in a nutshell, my advice would be this:
THIS IS LIFE OR DEATH.
THIS IS MORTAL COMBAT.
THIS IS DEADLY SERIOUS.
DO NOT GO PART WAY, DO NOT GIVE 99%, DO NOT THINK OF FAILING.
All of us who've been on that road tried to stop, and it worked for a while. Then we fell back again. Then 2 weeks later we'd try to stop again. After a while, Satan just reminds you that you're a darn liar and you can't follow through with anything. And we know our past so we agree with him.
You need to prove to yourself that you can do this, and the way you do that is to tell God, "God, I know this is your will for me to be free of this. Therefore, I know you will help me. but I also know that you want me to build character, so that means I'm gonna have to work. God, I commit to you 100% of all that I am, and I promise you that I will never go back. I need your strength to keep temptation at bay, and help me to be aware of triggers that set me on the path to sin, and help me avoid them."
Quit now, this instant and never go back. Every day you have behind you will build your resolve, and you will see God working in really amazing ways when you go all out for him.
I'll pray for you. You can do this. I was stuck in porn and lust and you name it for so long that if I can quit, I know you can. Keep us posted on your progress.
I'm happy that you've decided to come clean as I have. It takes a big man to admit that he has a problem. I'm glad to hear that you're reaching out for a solution and I look forward to fighting the good fight with you.
