I have a question about internet porn
I read on the porn stats sheet that internet porn sales is $2.5 billion. Does this include both paying for memberships at sites and ordering dvds off certain sites. Paying to download movies? or is it mainly people having memberships.Porn sales are very high but its weird because honestly i have seen plenty of people in stores buy alcohol, cigarettes, blunts.etc. But I haven't seen 1 person buy a dirty magazine. I have been in video stores such as movie gallery with friends and seen people go back there just to look but not buy anything. Me honestly i dont even have heart to go in a an all porn adult store. I dont know any friends who have memberships but know friends who look at free online porn. But i know plenty of people who have dirty dvds in essence means $ was spent on it. And i watch the courts with joe brown, hatchett, where people always talking about their spouse spending money on porn. I know people are buying but i just never hear about it or see it.

WHY would any of us be surprised at these statistics, when you consider the REAL truth and fact that people are not being taught REAL biblical truth in regards to sex? Not only that, but porn isn't exactly being ministered in churches across America the way it is SUPPOSED to be. THIS is what is eating away at SO many people's lives. THIS is the dirge of American culture. If you were to pull the rug of porn out from under the American economy, we would have NO economy, and THAT is the truth. You cannot tell me that 2 billion and/or more dollars that the porn industry makes isn't having a HUGE impact on the American economy, especially when there are companies that rely on the porn industry for their economy. It's just SAD that porn is being taken so lightly, and has been taken so lightly, for so long, but we are now seeing the fruit of it being taken so lightly. It's not the "victimless crime" we once thought it was, and truth be told, IT NEVER WAS.
I read this several weeks ago on xxxchurch.com's web site. The whole porn industry makes a heck of a lot more than 2.5 billion. Read this and it will give you a real sobering "big picture" of the power of porn.
