With me, she doesn't have to be nude or scantily clad. A picture of a beautiful female with a smile on her face can send me into that tailspin of lust. I can hardly go to any public places such as stores. I tend to find myself going past the magazine racks or DVD sections and plenty of pictures of beautiful females can be found in those places. I find myself lingering in those places and have to fight myself to go out the door and out of sight of those things. It often makes me doubt my salvation, whether it was true or not.

Try your bes to block or ignore the temptation. It is challenging. A few years ago, it difficult. Ocassionally, I falter although I do my best to not think negative thoughts.
Hey Brother, I am glad you are here. I know exactly what you mean. it's great that you are recognizing this and doing something about it. the fact that you are doing something about the temptation is proof positive you you are saved because if you weren't you probably wouldn't care to this extent.
if you want to know if you are saved, have you accepted Jesus into your heart and life and submitting yourself to Him as your personal lord and saviour. If you have Jesus in your life. and you've asked forgiveness of your sins and you are seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus, then you are saved and emotions do not have any weight or have any say in the matter.
satan will lie to you and tell you that when you sins you arent saved anymore. By the Grace of God alone are we saved, not by what we do. Jesus paid the price for our salvation by dying on the cross for our sins and coming back to life on the 3rd day. when He came back to life He had conquered the grave and now has the keys of the grave and death and hell . Jesus loves you because of who you are, not what you do.
Key words are Jesus Love YOU!!! nothing will ever change that.
