My bf had a really bad addiction to porn and i had a different addiction of my own. I am a x-cutter and i'm not afraid to say it. I haven't cut in 3yrs until i knew how bad my bf's addiction to porn was. So, i ended up cutting because of it. He now understands how it hurts me when he watches porn. Although, he can see how it affects me, I really want him to see the truth behind porn. I want him to free from it. I can't make him want to stop viewing it, but i think my scars remind him why he shouldn't. He hasn't seen it in 5 months now. I am very proud of him. However, the temptation to view it is still there and i can't hold that against him because it's something he used to do alot when he was single. All i can advice you to do is- don't leave him alone with the temptation. Let him know that you are there. And as far as your temptation, you shouldn't be alone with it either. Stand your ground my dear. This too shall pass.

You are a good girl and a good wife! I have been following your thread but haven't replied because of where it was posted. If you want to know more about me check out my other posts and replies, I won't bore you with my life story because it is pretty much like your husbands. Things are going well for me now and I think things will be improving for you too. When I started this battle it was just about getting free from addiction period. It became so much more for me and have became a better person in more ways than you possibly can imagine. I will pray for both of you. Please thank God that you have each other for love and support.
