"The Playboy Club," described as a "provocative new series" about a "visionary who created an empire and an icon who changed American culture," glorifies the objectification of women and violates the spirit of FCC licensing laws according to several women's groups.
NBC is appearing to defy FCC laws, while contributing to sexualization/victimization of women, which results in trafficking, rape and prostitution.

Recent Stats About Porn.
- 69 porn stars, that we know of, died from AIDS, homicide, suicide, and drug related deaths as well as premature deaths.
- 66% of porn stars have Herpes, a non-curable disease.
- 2,396 cases of Chlamydia and 1,389 cases of Gonorrhea reporterd among porn performers since 2004.
- 70% of sexually transmitted infections in the porn industry occur in females according to County of Los Angleles Public Health.
- Unprotected sex in the porn industry is against the law. CAL/OSHA states condoms are already required by law for the porn industry.

I make up the general Public, and I am not into Play Boy. Possibly thats the starting place for one getting into Porn? Children finding it in their Parent's bedroom.
I remember when Ellen Degeneras 1st had her Show and it was taken off the air due to her coming out. At the time I wasn't Born Again and I felt bad for her. Now I see it as the Television Network having balls. Trying to uphold some form of descency. Where did those people go?
It's sad that the Media has this wonderful potential for Education at a cheaper cost than our current Educational system. Look what they decide to Broadcast. I haven't subscribed to Cable for years because of it. I really can't think of 1 good show to watch.
A good Reality Show would be taking a crew through all the Networks and firing people!
If this is stopped I'd be suprised. Even with a petition I don't think it would be enough to stop this. For one it's NBC they won't air anything provocative enough to outrage enough people and two is it's Playboy. No one looks at playboy and says it's a "bad" thing. Playboy is still not this dark nasty porn in the eyes of the general public.
